Mary Ellen Anderson serves as Senior Managing Director, Deputy Chief Underwriter for NewPoint, focusing on Freddie Mac Multifamily and Fannie Mae DUS® executions. She has more than 25 years of Agency multifamily finance expertise. Anderson’s depth of experience includes managing all aspects of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae transactions for Walker & Dunlop, ARCS Commercial Mortgage and PNC, where she was instrumental in establishing the nationwide Freddie Mac financing platform. Earlier in her career, Anderson held various originations and underwriting roles, and negotiated large loan workouts for the FDIC.
Anderson is a graduate of Skidmore College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
