Bob Douglas

Bob Douglas is a Senior Managing Director at NewPoint. As a 25-year real estate veteran, Douglas is primarily responsible for management and oversight of the conventional production group and the overall relationship management with Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, including structuring and negotiating transactions, as well as process and product improvement initiatives.

Previously, Douglas was an Executive Managing Director with Newmark’s Multifamily Capital Markets Debt & Structured Finance group, where his tenure included ten years as the Freddie Mac product manager at predecessor firm Berkeley Point Capital (BPC). His duties included coordinating the loan process from origination through closing, and training in all facets of the Freddie Mac product lines. Prior to that, he served as BPC’s Product Manager for conduit and bridge lending.

Douglas holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from University of Maryland.
