Jacob Gabriel

Jacob Gabriel is a Director on NewPoint's originations team based in the firm's Chevy Chase office. 

Since joining in late 2021, he has worked to support NewPoint's top production team and has driven several initiatives focused on expanding NewPoint's originations prowess. Jacob's career highlights include facilitating over 125 loan closings nationwide, totaling $4.25 billion in loan volume. His proficiency in navigating the complexities of agency lending transactions has consistently ensured smooth and successful loan processes for clients.

Before joining NewPoint, Jacob contributed to JP Morgan Chase's Agency Lending Initiative, playing a pivotal role in defining their processes and executing Fannie Mae transactions. Additionally, he served as an underwriter with Freddie Mac Multifamily's Conventional Southeast Region, where he fostered strong relationships with numerous Optigo® lenders and their borrower network.

Jacob holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Florida.
