Ryan Koehler

Ryan Koehler is a Vice President on NewPoint's Originations team based in the firm's Chevy Chase office. In that capacity, he is responsible for house account deal management, direct origination, platform expansion and strategic partnerships.

Prior to joining NewPoint in February 2022, Koehler demonstrated a rapid ascent at Freddie Mac Multifamily. After joining as an Asset Management Analyst in 2016, he transitioned to a front-end role on Freddie Mac's Southeast Regional Multifamily Production and Sales Team and was named a Senior Producer in 2021. While an account lead at Freddie Mac, Koehler closed over $3 billion in business in 18 months. 

Koehler holds both a Bachelor of Arts in Landscape Architecture from Clemson University and a Master’s in Real Estate from Georgetown University.
