Elan Magence, Senior Vice President, Originations, has been named a 2024 Influencer in Healthcare Real Estate by GlobeSt. This prestigious honor is bestowed upon individuals who have successfully navigated industry challenges over the last year and capitalized on emerging opportunities in the market.

As a member of NewPoint’s Healthcare + Seniors Housing Team, Elan provides industry-leading financing solutions for owners and operators across the full continuum of residential care (active adult, independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing and memory care) nationwide. He concentrates on supporting properties with HUD/FHA Section 232 LEAN financing.

Elan has nearly two decades of expertise in LEAN financing with over $1 billion in deal volume. He is poised to provide his clients with an additional nearly $200 million in HUD commitments this year, with $83 million of it to fund an East Coast portfolio.

Elan has had a major impact on the broader community outside of commercial real estate. For nearly 15 years, he has been a volunteer EMT for Chicago Hatzalah, a non-profit, all-volunteer Emergency Medical service providing Chicago with 24-hour emergency medical response 365 days a year to all who need it, regardless of race, religion, or ethnicity.
