Brad Casey

Brad Casey oversees all underwriting and closing functions for NewPoint Real Estate Capital’s Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac loan origination platform in his role as Chief Underwriter. Casey is an experienced multifamily finance professional with expertise in front-end screening, management of underwriting staff, credit processes and risk management.

Casey was with Barings Multifamily Capital when it was acquired by NewPoint. Previously, he served as Managing Director and Chief Underwriter for Arbor Realty Trust and Deputy Chief Underwriter for PNC Real Estate and its predecessor, ARCS Commercial Mortgage Company. Earlier in his career, he worked for Washington Mutual and ORIX Capital Markets.

Casey holds a BBA in Finance and Economics from Stephen A. Austin State University and a Master of Science in Land Development from Texas A&M.
