Elie Tannous

Elie Tannous is the Head of Capital Markets for NewPoint, where he is responsible for overseeing pricing and MBS placement activity for the firm. His 20 years of experience in Agency multifamily finance links borrowers and investors, enhancing their experience and streamlining transactions.

Tannous’ depth of experience includes work for Berkadia Commercial Mortgage, where he served as Head of Securities Trading. Previously, he built and managed the Correspondent Sales Channel, Small Balance Lending Channel and Capital Markets at Capital One and was a co-founder of Beech Street Capital. He began his career at Fannie Mae, where he spent a decade and ended his tenure as Director of the Multifamily Desk.

Tannous holds a Bachelor of Science from Marymount University and a Master’s in Mathematics from George Washington University.
