Jeff Dodson

Jeff Dodson serves as Chief Servicing Officer at NewPoint, where he oversees the firm’s loan servicing department. He is responsible for operational execution, reporting, and data governance across the platform, while also leading strategic technology initiatives and third-party partnerships aimed at expanding NewPoint’s servicing capabilities. Mr. Dodson works closely with the company’s Origination and Capital Markets teams to enhance the client experience and support the execution of complex lending structures.

With more than 25 years of experience in commercial real estate servicing and portfolio management, Mr. Dodson brings extensive expertise across GSE, life company, balance sheet, CMBS, and third-party servicing platforms. Prior to joining NewPoint, he served as Managing Director at Lument, formed through the combination of Hunt Real Estate Capital, Lancaster Pollard, and RED Capital Group. At Lument and its predecessor, Hunt Mortgage Group, he held senior leadership roles overseeing servicing, asset management, and operational functions.

Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership positions at ACRE Capital (now Barings), where he oversaw servicing, asset management operations, and technology initiatives, including the buildout and transition of a servicing platform and team. He also held various asset management and credit surveillance leadership roles at Prudential Asset Resources, managing large-scale commercial mortgage portfolios and global teams, and began his career at Midland Loan Services (PNC), where he advanced through roles in portfolio management, consulting, and product development.

Mr. Dodson earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Brigham Young University and a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from Baker University.
