John Stewart

John Stewart is a Senior Managing Director on the originations team and manages NewPoint’s Denver production office. He is focused on originating multifamily loans through NewPoint’s Agency, HUD/FHA, and Proprietary platforms, in addition to sourcing debt and equity for multifamily and commercial real estate through a variety of third-party capital channels.

Prior to joining NewPoint, Stewart was a Senior Vice President at Grandbridge Real Estate Capital, where he ran the firm’s Denver production office. He previously held originations roles at Northmarq, Capmark Finance Inc., and Bank One Capital Markets. 

Stewart holds a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Denver and a BBA from Colorado College. He is a licensed real estate broker in Colorado and California.
