Karen Kim

Karen Kim is a Managing Director on the originations team specializing in affordable housing and conventional multifamily finance. She is based in Atlanta.

Prior to joining NewPoint in 2021, Kim was a Relationship Manager with Greystone & Co., where she managed a portfolio of clients, including several of the nation’s top affordable housing developers. She has also worked in the nonprofit sector as Manager of Corporate and Foundation Relations for God’s Love We Deliver and as a Development Associate for Upwardly Global. With over a decade of experience providing custom financing solutions through FHA/HUD, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, bridge and other loan programs, Kim brings a unique perspective on the affordable housing sector.  Kim holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida and a Master of Arts in Political Science from Yonsei University in the Republic of Korea.
