Kathy Williams

Kathy Williams serves as Head of Production Screening at NewPoint Real Estate Capital, where she oversees the firm’s loan screening and preliminary structuring process. In this role, she leads a team responsible for reviewing, sizing, and structuring multifamily loan opportunities across all agency programs, ensuring alignment between originations, underwriting, and NewPoint’s strategic objectives. Ms. Williams plays a key role in prioritizing transactions, guiding negotiations on loan structure and pricing, and maintaining strong relationships with agency partners to drive collaboration and deal execution. 

With more than 15 years of multifamily finance experience, Ms. Williams brings a wealth of expertise spanning asset management, underwriting, and originations. She joined NewPoint in 2021 as a Senior Underwriter and was promoted to Director of Production Screening in 2023. Prior to NewPoint, she held roles of increasing responsibility at Barings, Newmark, and PNC Real Estate. 

She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Real Estate from California State University, Northridge.
