Laurie Morfin

Laurie Morfin is a Senior Managing Director on the originations team, where she focuses on providing financing solutions to multifamily and commercial real estate investors from a variety of capital sources, including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA/HUD, Life Company and other executions.

Based in Irvine, CA, Morfin has more than 25 years of commercial real estate finance experience and has originated more than $3 billion during the course of her career. Prior to joining NewPoint in 2023, Morfin was a Senior Vice President at Bellwether Enterprise. She has held prior originations roles at Prudential Mortgage Capital Company (PGIM Real Estate), Wells Fargo and Nationwide Insurance. 

Morfin holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a concentration in Commercial Real Estate from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
