Lisa Moghul

Lisa Moghul serves as Head of Closing at NewPoint, where she leads the firm’s closing operations across its lending platforms. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing transaction execution from commitment through funding, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to agency and investor requirements. She partners closely with the Origination, Underwriting, Legal, and Capital Markets teams to drive timely and seamless closings.

Ms. Moghul brings more than two decades of experience in commercial real estate finance, with deep expertise in agency lending and closing management. Prior to joining NewPoint, she spent over 15 years at Capital One, including through its acquisition of Beech Street Capital where she served as Director and Closing Team Lead, managing high-volume production and mentoring closing professionals across the platform. Earlier in her career, she held senior closing roles at GMAC Commercial Mortgage (now Berkadia) where she developed a strong foundation in transaction management and agency executions.

Ms. Moghul earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Studies from the University of Maryland.
