Marshall Bass

Marshall Bass operates as Managing Director, Healthcare Bridge Underwriting at NewPoint Real Estate Capital where he oversees the underwriting and credit evaluation of the firm’s healthcare bridge lending platform. Working alongside origination, asset management, and capital markets teams, he helps structure customized bridge financing solutions for seniors housing and healthcare real estate owners nationwide.

Mr. Bass brings more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate finance with a specialized focus on seniors housing and long-term care. His experience spans bridge and FHA-insured mortgage financings, acquisitions and dispositions, asset-based revolving credit facilities, and sale-leaseback structures. Most recently, he founded and led Whiteford Consulting LLC, providing strategic advisory services across the seniors housing and healthcare real estate sectors. Prior to that, he held senior roles at CapitalSource Bank, Housing and Healthcare Finance, LLC, Berkadia, Arbor Realty Trust, Greystone Monticello LLC, and Haven Senior Investments.

Mr. Bass earned a Master of Business Administration from the Yale School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College.
