Tony Perez

Tony Perez serves as Interim Chief Servicing Officer at NewPoint, where he oversees the firm’s servicing platform and operations across its portfolio. With more than 30 years of experience in mortgage servicing and operations, he brings deep expertise in agency servicing, asset management, and portfolio oversight.

Prior to joining NewPoint, Mr. Perez served as Director of Mortgage Operations at HHC Finance, where he managed the company’s servicing portfolio prior to its acquisition by NewPoint. Previously, he was a Senior Vice President at Berkadia Commercial Mortgage LLC, where he managed the firm’s Agency servicing portfolio, including FHA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae, and Shared Services, representing more than $42 billion in real estate assets. Mr. Perez joined Berkadia in January 2001, when it was known as GMAC Commercial Mortgage, as Vice President and Director of Agency Relations. Earlier in his career, he served as Chief of National Asset Management for The WMF Group, Ltd., where he directed servicing and asset management operations for WMF Washington Mortgage Corp. and WMF/Huntoon, Paige Associates Limited, collectively administering a commercial and multifamily servicing portfolio in excess of $13.1 billion.

Mr. Perez earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Saint Peter’s College in Jersey City, NJ.
