Geri Borger Urgo
Geri Borger Urgo serves as President of Agency Lending for NewPoint Real Estate Capital, where she leads the strategic expansion of the firm’s national origination platform.
Ms. Borger Urgo joined NewPoint in 2021 as a member of its founding leadership team and Head of Originations. She has since tripled the size of the firm's Agency and Proprietary Lending production teams and driven the firm's notable increase in multifamily volume. Her focus on client advocacy and operational efficiency has been pivotal in establishing NewPoint as a market leader.
Her past experience includes a wide range of multifamily finance roles, including GSE production and underwriting, acquisitions for a national multifamily investment platform, and advisory work for a family office focused on multifamily operations. Prior to NewPoint, Ms. Borger Urgo spent nearly 15 years at Freddie Mac Multifamily leading Loan Production and Institutional Relationship Management efforts.
Ms. Borger Urgo earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
