Tom Follain

Tom Follain joined NewPoint with the launch of the platform in June 2021. As Senior Managing Director, Head of Strategic Change & Development, he is responsible for overseeing and guiding the design, development and implementation of new business applications and process improvements across the organization. Follain brings extensive experience to NewPoint. As a co-founder and Principal of FI Consulting, he spent more than 15 years providing consulting services to Freddie Mac and other organizations across all aspects of their commercial and multifamily mortgage activities, including originations, pricing, asset management and securitization. Prior to co-founding FI Consulting, Follain began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he worked in both their federal consulting and mortgage banking practices.

Follain attended American University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice.
